Our History
Kopwa is a village located in Dumraon subdivision of Buxar district in Bihar, India. It is situated 9 km away from the sub-district headquarter Dumraon and 25 km away from the district headquarter Buxar. The village spans a total geographical area of 327.9 hectares.
According to Census 2011, the total population of Kopwa is 3,771, with 1,984 males and 1,787 females. The literacy rate is 59.27%, with male literacy at 68.95% and female literacy at 48.52%.
The village economy is primarily based on agriculture, with residents cultivating various crops and maintaining traditional farming techniques passed down generations.
